Our SPT Halie has been working with one of our kiddos for over a year now and he has made such growth. He is 4 years old and has been with us since December 2021. He enjoys going for walks outside, listening to Jack Hartman on YouTube, and loves numbers and letters! Just this week he received his own speech-generating device through insurance, and we wanted to highlight him for all of the work he’s been doing.
We love this picture because he is holding his device and smiling when there can be such a negative stigma behind speech generating devices. His mom shared that he was independently using his device to tell her about food in the grocery store that they buy!
